We're all about natural, clean beauty and skincare at DailyHap—we've touted the book No More Dirty Looks before, and we love trying new chemical-free skin products.

Naturally, we're supportive of S. W. Basics' founder Adina Grigore's newest book, Skin Cleanse: The Simple, All-Natural Program for Clear, Calm, Happy Skin, which details how to put your skin through a cleanse. In a time when celebs are always cleansing their bodies, why not cleanse your face and skin? 

The Skin Cleanse (#skincleanse):

  1. Go completely makeup/product-free for one day, 24 hours.
  2. You can use natural, food-grade single-ingredients like cocoa butter, olive oil, shea butter, and apple cider vinegar in place of your old products.
  3. Eat clean: Whole foods and vegetables, lots of water, and eliminate processed foods.


The book obviously goes more in detail about what you'll learn during this cleanse, but basically you can start to diagnose skin issues without products clogging up your skin. If you're a makeup-wearer, you may also be surprised at how liberated you feel!
