Life is Indeed a Numbers Game
The more you put in, the better chance of finding what you want

The more jobs you apply for, the more interviews you'll get, and the more likely you are to find the best fit.
The more dates you do on, the more people you meet as well the better you understand what you want, and the more likely you are to be ready when it is the right person.
The more things you try, like sports or classes or hobbies, the more likely you are to find something you truly love.
Life is, in this way, a numbers game (inspired by this post).
But it's also about being open-minded. In every example above, a person applying for more jobs or going on more dates or trying more things, is being open to new experiences. The numbers create openness. Openness creates opportunity.
You don't have to immediately act on these numbers games. But keep your eyes open for places to say yes, to do something you wouldn't normally do, in the interest of expanding your numbers and your opportunities.
